Multiple Uses of Molecular Sieves in Industry

Molecular sieves are the dark type materials which have been in application of various industries for many processes due to their special properties such as adsorption. At our Yihang, there are several Sorbent molecular sieves varieties which serve the unique needs of various industries.

The primary where molecular sieves find application is in the drying and purification of gases. These materials can selectively remove moisture and other impurities from gases, thus making them suitable for manufacturing high purity gases. The molecular sieves of Yihang are gas Phase condensate or liquefy water vapor, carbon dioxide and other residuals out of pure oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen gas so that the purity of the final product is guaranteed.

Additionally, there are several uses of molecular sieves whereby they include cluster of hydrocarbons separation in petrochemicals products. For the production of high quality gasoline and other petrochemical products, there is the need of separating olefins from paraffins which are achieved by use of Molecular Sieves. These molecular sieves have been adopted for specific hydrocarbon separation requiring less costs in this regard which tend to be a complicated exercise.

The application of molecular sieves is extended even in the air spheres to obtain oxygen and nitrogen. These materials capture argon and other trace gases present in the air, making it possible to isolate pure streams of oxygen and nitrogen. In oxygen and nitrogen production, our Yihang molecular sieves performance for air separation application is reliable gas purity and consistent.

In the refrigeration and air conditioners industry, dehydrating agents in the form of molecular sieves are employed so as to eliminate water from the refrigerant. This helps to eliminate chances of corrosion, as well as promote proper functioning of the system.
